Historic Walking Tour of Mesilla, NM: Vesta Siemers and Mary De Varse. This great little publication provides the reader with a wonderful and informative self-paced tour through Old Mesilla. A copy of this publication can be purchased at Bowlin's Mesilla Book Center on the Plaza.

Basilica of San Albino, north end of the Plaza: Originally built of adobe in 1855. The church was rebuilt to its present structure in 1906. It became a basilica on November 1, 2008, Visiting hours: 1-3 pm daily; except Sunday. Masses: Sat. 5:30 pm English; Sun. 8 am, Spanish; Sun. 11 am, English; Weekdays 7 am, Spanish. (575) 526-9349
