The J. Paul Taylor Visitor Center is located at 2231 Avenida de Mesilla. The phone number is (505) 524-3262 ext. 117. The visitor center is located
inside Mesilla Town Hall, which opened in September 2005.
Named after former New Mexico State Representative and Mesilla resident J. Paul Taylor, the visitor center is currently being expanded, with
construction expected to be completed in early 2008. The visitor center is staffed by "Amigos" who are dedicated volunteers that love Mesilla and are eager to promote the culture and historical
qualities that make Old Mesilla unique.
The J. Paul Taylor Visitor Center is equipped with brochures, videos, restaurant menus and other interesting information on the area. The
center has a great collection of old photos that adorn the walls dating back to the late 1800's.
